| We are a family owned kennel and have been breeding dogs since our oldest daughter was born in November of 1989. We spend all day with our dogs. They are well cared for and get individual attention. We have a lot of dogs and a lot of kids and we wouldn't change a thing. All of our pups are well immunized starting at an early age. No dog with a poor temperament will be bred here. They must all be tolerant of children. We breed dogs because we love dogs ! |
| Breeding dogs is our passion. I don't have one type of flower and I don't like only one type of dog. I enjoy raising many types of dogs and I do it well . I can analyze temperament and health. I know my dogs and can give you an honest evaluation of strengths and weaknesses. |

| Winterhillkennel is the alternative to being treated as though you are not worthy of owning a pet by some breeders and feeling your only choice is to buy from a pet store. We breed all of our pups that we offer for sale here. They have our attention most of the day 365 days a year. Our primary focus is on labs and goldens but we do offer other breeds on occasion. We know it is not politically correct to offer more that one breed of pups but the fact is...we like many breeds. We also enjoy many different types of flowers. All of our pups are checked by our vet before they go home and come with a written guarantee. Also, they are wormed daily from two weeks of age until they go home. All of our pups have two kennel cough vaccines, at least one neopar which is the best parvo vaccine on the market, and at least one DA2PPv before they go home. We have been breeding dogs for 20 years now and our pups play house with our kids and go for rides in little red wagons with them. Our emphasis is on temperament first and health second. Although we have some very pretty and conformationally correct dogs, looks are our third priority after the others. You will be surprised by our candor about the behavioural quirks some of our dogs have. They are all sweet but some are better placed with one kind of family than another. We will honestly tell you about Mom and Dad's personalities and energy levels. Also, we will, to the best of our ability, tell you about training expectations within each breed.
